PRELUDE, an EcoXpert company delighted with its track record

This young and very dynamic company from Liège is active in special building techniques with dazzling growth, as evidenced by the numerous projects it has completed.

On the strength of this experience, it has been involved in obtaining Schneider Electric’s EcoXpert certification, a recognition with high added value. It now acts as a privileged partner of Schneider Electric for applications in the field of BMS (building management system).

A multi-pole company

Located in the center of Liège, Casa Domotic was created in 2011 by 3 friends, with the initial philosophy of developing home automation based on KNX-labeled products. Once strong partnerships had been established, the company’s growth began and new collaborators gradually joined to reach a staff of about twenty people to date. And it’s not over yet, the ambitions are there and the prospects are encouraging. This progression is due to the enrichment of individual and collective skills and the opening towards other less restrictive markets. This is how Casa Domotic is active in the many special building techniques. It offers several areas of development: HVAC regulation, fire safety, access control, multimedia, IT. Active in the Brussels and Walloon regions, it also has two foreign subsidiaries, one in Paris and one in Luxembourg.

A collaborative success hailed by the introduction of “Prelude”.

The recruitment of young employees, all motivated by the discovery of new technologies, has contributed to the exponential growth in revenues. In order to benefit its employees, Quentin Pierre, a systems integrator, has modified its statutes to move towards a collaborative company whose keyword is “Freedom”. Some employees have become partners. Feeling cramped in its original name, a reflection has just taken place and the fruit of this reflection is that from now on Casa Domotic will be called “Prelude”, Prelude to a more sustainable future where freedom will always be present

Several reasons are evoked by Quentin Pierre. One of the first reasons is the worldwide fame of Schneider Electric and its presence on the Belgian market. The quality is no longer to be demonstrated, an enriched offer is available. One can also highlight the way of approaching the market. After completing several large projects, Prelude’s thought leaders have analyzed the market for solutions and products related to BMS. This is how they came closer to Schneider Electric. With their different competencies, Prelude has access to complementary markets, whether it is in IT, fire safety, HVAC, … Through their experiences, the employees or associates master several techniques. In-house training is organized so that everyone feels comfortable with the special techniques of the building industry. However, each person evolves in his preferred field.

In meetings with design offices, Prelude’s point of view becomes important as soon as one proudly displays the EcoXpert certification, it is the assurance of having a global group in the background. It also shows the customers that Prelude, in close cooperation with Schneider Electric, can offer the best technological solutions in the field of BMS and to perfect this emphasis, Olivier Delannoy is present at certain meetings. Even though the bird has taken flight, the accompaniment continues at the end of the construction site in order to carry out financial analyses and optimize future choices.

Among the most ambitious projects realized by Prelude are: the CBC bank in Namur, the Christian mutual insurance company in Bouge, the Boverie museum in cork, the National Institute of Statistics (Statbel) in Brussels, the Jacques Brel museum in Brussels and several buildings of the University of Mons.
